Fantasy Premier League

Round One;

We’re just mere hours away from the 2020/21 Premier League season and i’m here to provide tips for your Fantasy Premier League team.

With Manchester City and Manchester United not in action for the first weekend of action, your attention should be mainly focused on Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Arsenal kick off the #FPL season when they travel to Fulham, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang should be on top of everyone’s list as I fully expect him to score at least once against newly promoted Fulham, with the African being recognised as a midfielder this year, he’s also getting any clean sheet points should Arsenal actually sort their defence out.

The Premier League Champions start their defence against Leeds at Anfield, and considering that The Reds haven’t lost a game at home in over 3 years, I can only see one result here and that‘s a home win.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is going from strength to strength and I would strongly recommend to have the youngster in your #FPL squad as not only is he part of one of the strongest defences in the league but is also a very attacking full back who will create constant trouble for defences throughout the season.

From an attacking point of view Mo Salah and Sadio Mane are guaranteed to score you many many points throughout the season, but it could be tricky to squeeze both players into your squad so whichever you go with, don’t stress if they don’t fire against Leeds on Sunday morning.

A new looking Chelsea side travel to Brighton on Tuesday and will expect to hit the ground running after Frank Lampard spent a lot of cash of new faces in the summer, at the forefront of them all is Kai Havertz, the former Leverkusen man is one of the best young players in World football at the moment and I can’t see him do any thing besides create goals and cause trouble.

He may not be familiar to a lot of people, but he can rival Kevin De Bruyne in midfield this season and for 3 million cheaper than the Belgian, I sincerely suggest you put this man in your #FPL team.

Elsewhere in the other games, I would look at West Ham, Leicester and Wolves assets, but remember that some big guns enter the league at Round 2 and you’ll want to save some money for De Bruyne, Sterling, Fernandes, Rashford and so on.

so to recap, my top 3 picks for this weeks #FPL.

Aubameyang (Captain 12.0m)

Trent Alexander-Arnold (7.5m)

Kai Havertz (8.5m)
