Sheffield United (H) vs Newcastle United (A)

Head to Head: Newcastle 4 wins Sheffield United 2 wins

Both teams are struggling for consistency. The Blades are without a win after 17 matches into the season while Newcastle are winless in their last 5 matches. Chris Wilder will be sweating on the fitness of a number of players. Enda Stevens, George Baldock, Phil Jagielka, Jack Robinson, Billy Sharp & Lys Mousset are all doubtful while Oli McBurnie remains sidelined. 16 year old Antwoine Hackford will become only the 4th 16 yr old to appear in a premier league starting XI after Wayne Rooney, Jose Baxter & Reece Oxford.

Prediction: Sheffield United 1-0

Burnley (H) vs Manchester United (A)

Head to Head: Manchester United 6 wins Burnley 2 wins 4 draws

The Red Devils will be looking for a win to go top of the table having played a game less than league leaders Liverpool. Edinson Cavani will be available after having served a 3 match ban. Look for Portuguese midfield maestro Bruno Fernandes to dominate United's attack along with Marcus Rashford. Burnley are in decent form having won 3 of their last 5 including their last match against Manchester United at Old Trafford 2-0. If Burnley win, this would be the first time they have won consecutive matches against the Red Devils since September 1968. Burnley could also record 3 straight home wins since January 2017 with a win after victories against Wolves & Sheffield United in their last 2 home games.

Prediction: Manchester United 3-1

Wolverhampton Wolves (H) vs Everton (A)

Head to Head: Everton 4 wins Wolves 3 wins 5 draws

A serious blow for Everton with Dominic Calvert-Lewin ruled out with a hamstring injury. Fellow striker Richarlison also faces a fitness test. Wolves have their own injury problems to overcome with Raul Jimenez still absent and Daniel Podence & Wily Boly also out injured. The Toffees have eon 4 of their last 5 matches while Wolves have struggled and have won just one out of their last 5 matches. Prediction: Wolves 1-0

Manchester City (H) vs Brighton Hove & Albion (A)

Head to Head: Man City 6 wins Brighton Hove & Albion 0 wins

Brighton have no won in their last 5 PL matches while City have won their last 3 PL matches. Further compounding their lack of results, the Seagulls will be without livelier midfielder Tariq Lamptey, the oft injured and unlucky Adam Lallana & striker Danny Welbeck. That is a lot of experience missing for Graham Potter. City have won all 6 of their PL matches against Brighton scoring 20 and conceding the solitary goal. For Pep Guardiola, Raheem Sterling is fit but Sergio Aguero is isolating and will miss the match. Prediction: Man City 3-0

Tottenham Hotspur (H) vs Fulham (A)

Head to Head: Spurs 15 wins Fulham 7 wins 6 draws

Fulham manager Scott Parker finally has a full squad to choose from after the COVID virus ran riot at the club and Terence Kongolo & Kenny Tete back after injury layoffs in last weekend's FA Cup win against Queens Park Rangers. Fulham are unbeaten in 4 matches and well rested but Spurs were impressive last time around against Leeds who folded meekly against the goals/assists powerhouse of Harry Kane/Son Heung-Min. The Cottagers are Spurs bunny with Spurs having won 10 out their last 11 matches with Fulham's only win in that spell coming in March 2013 at White Hart Lane. Harry Kane has 35 goals in London derbies with Arsenal legend Thierry Henry the only other player with more goals than him with 43. Prediction: Spurs 3-0

Arsenal (H) vs Crystal Palace (A)

Head to Head: Arsenal 13 wins Crystal Palace 3 wins 6 draws

3 wins on the trot for the Gunners sees them arrest an early season lapse in form and back in a respectable 11th position on the league ladder. If they win against the Eagles this would be 4 matches won in a row for the first time since October 2018. Palace will be missing Jeffrey Schlupp but Gary Cahill returns. Palace are unbeaten in their last 4 matches against the Gunners, their longest unbeaten streak against them. With 8 goals in their last 3 matches, look for the Gunners to consolidate their mid table position.

Prediction: Arsenal 3-1

Last Week: 3 out of 9

Overall season: 76 out of 162

Prediction Success: 46.9 %
